This program is designed to help a company understand and manage gender bias, develop more compassionate gender inclusive practices, and take the necessary steps to become a gender inclusive business.
Leadership and Team Member Training as well as Consulting for those things that fall beyond the scope of training are all available. Each business can begin with any part of this program that best suits their needs.
Leadership Training
What
Leadership training is customized for each business and includes:
- Review of Implicit Bias, understand your own bias and how you can work to overcome it.
- Understand the fundamentals of gender identity and gender expression, as well as common terminology.
- Learn how to communicate with clients/patients/customers and co-workers in a more inclusive manner.
- Develop tools and techniques to provide leadership around gender inclusive practices.
– If the business is not yet inclusive, this training can include a review of the next steps to become an inclusive business.
– If this business is already inclusive, this training includes a review of the implemented policies and procedures.
Who
If the business is considering becoming inclusive, then key stakeholders and decision makers are invited and recommended to attend. The process of becoming inclusive involves collaborative efforts across the enterprise. All leaders and decision makers who complete this course will be best positioned to determine if becoming a gender inclusive business is right for them. The remaining members of the leadership team would complete their training once the firm is inclusive.
If the business is interested in leadership training without the additional steps to become inclusive, then all leaders are recommended to attend this training. Setting a compassionate and inclusive environment is best achieved by educating as many people as possible.
If you are an solopreneur or independent contractor, Gender Inclusion for Business: Individual Training might be right for you.
Digital Badges
Leaders who complete this training will receive their training certificate as a digital badge. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter so you can quickly and easily share verified proof of your Gender Inclusion for Business training wherever and whenever you choose.
